Firewood

No firewood shall be transported into Fox Lake Campground unless purchased within 50 miles of the campground and is from a State Certified Vendor with proof provided. Why is this? We do not want diseased wood coming into the campground and putting the campground trees at risk.

Do not bring in more than ONE small bag of untreated construction lumber scraps to use as fire starters to burn in the campfire pits.

Please don't peel the bark off trees or cut up the trees for firewood.

Fallen sticks already on the ground may be picked up and put in your fire pit.

Firewood is available for purchase at the campground store.

Do not attach anything to trees (such as a hammock) or hang bathing suits on tree branches. Free standing hammocks are permitted.
